Our motto at Hippie Crap, is to make high quality handmade hair and skincare that does not cost a fortune. As you can imagine, it is quite the task. However, it is not too large for us! We promise to keep making high quality handmade hair and skincare while being environmentally conscious and giving back to the community.

We are a hippie family business based in Ashland, WI. Myself (Kristina St. Arnold) and my family make a great team in order to run Hippie Crap LLC. Even though we are available online, we do a lot of events in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. For the big events, I recruit my family to help, which I am very fortunate to have. Along with that, I appreciate every order that is place by our customers. Your support is what keeps Hippie Crap going and our bills paid. And for that, I could never thank you guys enough! Our story begins a decade ago when I became curious about where our bath and beauty products were coming from and exactly what those big long ingredients really meant. If you have ever looked up the ingredients in your lotions, body washes, shampoos, and/or conditioners, then you are no stranger to the horrors that the internet provides on these ingredients. This research was a bit discouraging because not only are these ingredients in our everyday bath and beauty products harmful, but the good products cost a fortune! That was the turning point. I started making lotions, oils, dry shampoos, lip balms, scrubs, etc. I played with different recipes and blends before figuring out the perfect recipes for Hippie Crap. I have been making these products for a decade. In 2018, I decided to share them with the world by opening Hippie Crap LLC. So, here we are, using those crafted recipes mixed with environmentally friendly practices to create an affordable and healthy product for our customers!
