Our motto at Hippie Crap, is to make the world a better place. As you can imagine, it is quite the task. However, it is not too large for us and we promise to keep making changes in order to become the most environmentally friendly and charitable company you have ever come across.
Our story begins many years ago when I became curious about where our bath and beauty products were coming from and exactly what those big long ingredients really meant. If you have ever looked up the ingredients in your lotions, body washes, shampoos, and/or conditioners, then you are no stranger to the horrors that the internet provides on these ingredients. This research was a bit discouraging because not only are these ingredients in our everyday bath and beauty products harmful, but the good products cost a fortune! That was the turning point. I started making lotions, body washes, etc. and played with different recipes and blends. I have been making these products for years and recently decided to share them with the world by opening Hippie Crap. So, here we are, using those crafted recipes mixed with environmentally friendly practices to create an affordable and healthy product for our customers. Each product is handmade with careful attention to detail in order to make our customers happy and feel loved because let's be honest, we do care! There are no chemicals, preservatives, fillers, alcohols, mineral oil, parabens or artificial fragrances added to our products. All of our products are cruelty free and eco-friendly. We also promote chemical free and little to no waste in our environment. Our containers are all BPA free and recyclable, shipping packages are recycled, and even the tissue paper and plastic wrap used to wrap the products are eco-friendly, acid free and made from recycled materials. To top it off, we donate 5% of every sale to a good cause! We even have a recycling program for our containers. We send you a shipping label, you send the containers to us, you receive 10% off your next order!
